Yaacov Mayman
Yaacov Mayman is a Grammy-nominated saxophonist and educator dedicated to inspiring the next generation of young musicians. With over 20 years of experience, Yaacov has developed a unique approach to teaching children ages 5–12, combining fun, creativity, and strong musical fundamentals. His lessons include singing, rhythm development, ear training, music theory, and hands-on practice with instruments such as saxophone, piano, drums, and guitar.
Yaacov believes that every child has musical potential. His classes focus on building confidence, teamwork, and imagination while helping students discover their own musical voice. He creates engaging group programs, teaches children how to write simple melodies, and uses rhythm games to make learning active and exciting.
Alongside his teaching, Yaacov continues to perform internationally with jazz, Latin, and soul ensembles. He frequently appears at festivals, concert halls, and community events, bringing his passion for music to audiences of all ages.
